Miguel Durham Agrellos

Managing Partner of Durham Agrellos. He has been providing advisory services in tax law for over 25 years and has relevant experience in counselling family-owned groups, in particular, export-oriented groups, and multinational enterprises operating in Portugal, high-net-worth families, banks with private banking operations, family offices, and asset managers. His practice focuses on wealth management, tax and succession planning, corporate restructuring, and tax litigation and arbitration, both in Portugal and abroad.

He holds a Law Degree from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the same university, and a Postgraduate Degree in Tax Law from the Instituto Superior de Gestão. In addition to his practice as a lawyer, he served as a tax consultant for the Jerónimo Martins Group, the largest Portuguese retail group, with significant operational activity in Portugal, Eastern Europe, and Central America.

He is an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Centre (CAAD). He was a lecturer in taxation at the Católica Porto Business School. He regularly authors articles on tax law subjects and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences within his area of expertise.
