Paulo Pichel is a partner at Durham Agrellos.
He has a law degree from the Catholic University of Portugal and a Master’s degree from the same University. His Master’s thesis focused on the private international law framework regarding the regulation of corporate groups.
Paulo is an Invited Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal where he teaches the courses of Tax Law, Introduction to Tax Proceedings, Introduction to Public Law, Constitutional Law and European Union Law. He frequently lectures in postgraduate programs in Portuguese Universities. Paulo is a Phd candidate and researches in tax law, particularly tax procedures.
His professional practice is mainly focused on tax litigation and tax planning, particularly for family-owned groups.
Paulo worked as a Senior Associate in the Tax and Private Client department of an international law firm.
